Forty-six consecutive years of deanship are represented by the four ladies chatting with Mrs. Wiliam J. Shertzer, standing at left, who spoke at the open house for AU's Lamson Hall Sunday. Miss Mary Lamson, seated, was dean for 17 years. Miss MildredMartin and Miss Arlene Friestad are currently deans, and Miss Rachel Christmas was dean for 16 years. Miss Martin has served concurrently with Miss Christman and Miss Friestad for twenty-two years
