  • Written on back: "GATHER ROADSIDE LITTER: Doing their part in beautifying Berrien Springs before the Fourth of July holiday weekend, thirteen teen-angers under the supervision of Ben Nutt (standing beside tree at right) spent Thursday morning cleaning up both sides of U.S. 31 from University Boulevard to the Community Services Center and from the bridge south of the village to the end of the roadside park there. The teen-agers, students at Andrews Academy, are working for the Andrews University grounds deparment this summer. Nutt is superintendent of the deparment (photo by Orville Schneider); 7/71"
