Written on photograph: "Cedar Lake Academy' dormitory building with Professor and Mrs. Lamson in the carriage with Nell. Adolf Evers and two of the boys driving the greys hitched to the Spring wagon. Irving Hall (now Dr. Hall) and Vinton Coskbam with the Colts attached to the wagon. The picture was taken after the partitions had taken the place of curtains in the dormitory, and an entry had been built out of the basement on the South side.".
