CAMP MEETING.
The time and place of the Camp Meeting- have been previously announced, also the importance of it.
We trust that our brethren and sisters are planning to attend. We have been favored in securing a favorable location for a large attendance from both cities.
We desire to make the meeting what the Lord would be pleased to have it, a meeting that will represent and recommend the sacred truths of the message to thoughtful minds in a way to lead them to investigate it’s Claims upon their attention,trusting and praying that honest hearts may yield obedience to the requirements of God. To accomplish this and other important objects of the meeting we desire as many of the brethren to attend as can do so. The counsels and prayers of all are very much needed in planning for the future work of the cause in our State.
Officers for the Conference, Tract Soc. and 5. School are to be chosen for the ensuing year. Articles of incorporation of a body to legally hold property, and transact other business will be presented for consideration and adoption. These are weighty matters and need careful thought before being acted upon. We expect Eld. J. H. Durland and other efficient help to be in attendance to give instruction in the present, living issues of the gospel. We have the promise of the presence and power of the Spirit of God in response to the exercise of faith. We are in the time of the judgment, and our motives are being weighed in the balances of the Lord
Let us read carefully Luke 1232, 33, and not be afraid of complying with the privilege. We are confident that the brethren and sisters of Minn, are desirous of advancing with the increasing light of the message.

As all of our lumber was burped last summer and our supply this year will all be new stock so that rent will be considerable higher. We shall be glad to receive orders for what you want in tents and furnishings so as to be able to make provisions to supply you.
Grocery stand with a full line of Health Foods, also diiiing tent will be provided, but we trust that our brethren will be prepared to care for themselyes as far as they can. Below we republish the “Constitution of Minn. Tract Soc., and Duties of Librarians;” not to fill up space, hut that all may become acquanted with the object of the Soc. and the duties, not only of the Librarians, but of every individual member in helping to carry out that object.

Constitution of Minnesota Tract Society, 1894.
Article 1.—name.
j The name of this Society shall be, Minnesota Tract and Missionary Society.
Article 2.—objects.
The objects of this Society shall be, (1) To publish and circulate religious, temperance, and educational literature; (2) To secure subscriptions for periodicals, and to provide for supplying the same to the worthy poor; (3) To disseminate information in regard to home and foreign missions, and to raise funds for their support.
THE MINNESOTA WORKER.
Article 3.—membership.
All persons in regular standing in a Seventh-day Adventist church, or who may be recommended by the church, who makes offerings to the funds of the society, may be members by vote of the society. Article .4.—officers.
Section 1. The officers of this Society shall be a President, who shall be the President of the Conference:; a Vice-President, Secretary," Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, and State Agent, who shall be elected at the annual meeting of the Society.
Sec. 2. The librarians shall be elected annually, by the local societies.
Article 5.—management.
The officers of this Society, together with the Executive Committee of the Conference, shall constitute a Board of Council, ;who shall have the general management of the work of the Society, and shall have power to fill any vacancies in the offices thereof.
Article 6.—duties of officers.
Section 1. President.—The duties of the President shall be, to preside at all meetings of the Society, and of the Board of Council; to have general oversight of the work of the Society, and with the counsel of the Conference Committee, to direct , the colporters in. th^ir work.
Sec. 2. Vice-Presidfent.—It shall be the duty of the Vice-President to act in place of the President in his absence, and to work in connection with the President.
Sec. 3* - Secretary.-r^The Secretary shall keep the records and documents of the Society, conduct the business correspondence, have charge of the publications of the Society^ and fill all orders for the same. '	1 "
Sec. 4. Corresponding Secretary.—The Corresponding Secretary shall conduct the missionary correspondence with colporters, librarians, and individuals; submit plans to the local societies for the circulating of literature, and assist by correspondence and otherwise in organizing and conducting weekly missionary-meetings, and in carrying forward other lines of missionary work, following such general plans as may be approved by the President and Secretary.
Sec. 5. Treasurer.—The Treasurer shall have charge of the funds of the Society, and shall render an account thereof annually, or otherwise if requested to do so by the President or Board of Council.
Sec. 6. State Agent.—The duties of the State Agent shall be to have charge of the subscription book business of the Society. He shall select, appoint, and instruct agents, and contract with them for territory in which to work.
Article 7.—colportfrs.
Colporters shall be employed by the Conference; and the duties of such colporters shall be, to do general missionary work, such as visiting scattered sabbath keepers, and those who have become interested by reading or otherwise; canvassing for periodicals, selling bibles, trade books and pamphlets; also to look; after the financial interests, such as Tithe, First Day Offerings, &c.
Article 8.—meetings.
! This'Sbciety shall convene annually for the election
of officers and the transaction pf other necessary business,’at such time and place as the President may appoint. Special meetings may be called at such time and place as the Board of Council may deem1 necessary.
Article 9.—funds.
The funds of this Society shall consist of money received from free-will offerings and sale of publications.
Article 10.^-amendments.
This Constitution may be amended at any annual .meeting, by a vote of two-thirds of the members present.
reporting.
1.	The librarians shall collect froin the members
weekly, when practicable, and at least quarterly, the following items of work done:—	*Y
Letters written.
Letters received.
Bible readings held.
Subscriptions obtained for periodicals.
Periodicals distributed.
Pages of books, tracts, etc., distributed.
2.	The librarians shall report these items, (and others as per new blank) quarterly to the State Corresponding Secretary.
A summary of "these reports shall be forwarded quarterly by ther Corresponding Secretary to the State Secretary.
The State Secretary shall render each quarter to the Corresponding Secretary of the International T. and M, Society, a report compiled from the report of the Corresponding Secretary,together with the following items to be collected from his books:—
1.	The retail value of all publications furnished to
individuals, riot included in the report of the Corresponding Secretary.	’ : ' ' ■	. r
2.	The value of all periodicals ordered for missionary purposes through his society.
3.	The retait value of all subscription books sold by canvassers during the quarther,
DUTIES OF LIBRARIANS.
1.	—To keep constantly before the society, the importance of the work, and to encourage all to give, it a hearty support by their means, their labors and their prayers.
2.	—To have the oversight of the work done by the society, and to so plan that as far as possible every member shall have something to do.
3.	—To encourage the members to keep n record of their work; to furnish them with Report Blanks and instruct them how and when to report; to collect their reports at the dose of the quarter, and prqmptly forward a summary of the saine on its appropriate blank, to the Corresponding Secretary.
4.	—To keep a record ot all missionary meetings, and to read the same at the proper time and place.
5.	—To see that the riieetings of .the society are regularly held and properly carried on:
(a)	The weekly meeting.
(b)	The 4th sabbath meeting, at which/ a. summary of the work done during the quarter should be read.

(c)	The quarterly business meeting*, when a report should be presented of the work during the quarter? also a financial statement showing the standing of the society with the State Society at the close of the previous quarter, money received and paid out since that time, the amount due the society from individuals, amount Of cash on hand, with the present indebtedness to the State.
6.	—To keep the accounts of the society, to properlY balance the books at the close of every quarter, and to file all bills, statements, and receipts in the order of their dates.
7.	—To impress upon the members the importance of taking our papers and reading them; to secure clubs of papers for missionary work, as well as supplies of tracts and other literature; to order publications for the society and for individuals.
8—To collect the following Funds: Weekly and 4th Sabbath Donations, First Day Offerings, Pledges to General Relief fund. Also to receive and forward Periodical Dues and Pledges to any Fund or Enterprise.

* THE SABBATH SCHOOL. *
ORGANIZATION OF THE ASHLEY UNION SUNDAY SCHOOL.
On March 31st 1895, the friends of the Sunday School met at the school house. Eld. W. B. Hill acting as chairman. Mr. Oscar Johnson, Miss Ella Hill, and Miss Etta Carpenter were appointed as a nominating committee to nominate officers for the school.
They reported Mrs. Dell Wood for Superintendent and Chorister. Mrs. M. J. Me Cracken for Asst. Superintendent, aud Miss Etta Carpentei for Secretary, al of whom were duly elected.
The following classes were organized.
A. Class.
Oscar Johnson, Arthur Love, H. Lohf, Etta Carpenter and Stella Love.
Teacher, Mrs. D. Love.
B. Clas^.
A. Carpenter, Minor Me Cracken, Lynn Me Cracken, Irving Carpenrer and Chester Love.

• NOTES FROM THE FIELD. •
hut I can say that lam still alive and enjoy good health, and my courage in the work of God and ' His message grows brighter day by day, as I see the work advance. The work of God is pushing its way to every corner of the earth,and every community of our own land seems to be more or less stirred by its influence. On the other hand,the enemy is not sleeping: he is preparing souls for destruction, and lays his snares for those who have not fully given up to him. His wrath is especially kindled against those who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus.
I stopped in Chicago a few days on my way from Battle Creek. We had a few meetings with the brethren there, besides visiting the Medical Mission and other places of interest in the city.
Since coming back to Minnesota, I stayed in Minneapolis a few days in council with the Conf. Com. about the work and especially arranging for our Camp Meeting. I also held a few meetings with our Scandinavian brethren in St Paul and Minneapolis.
1 came to Artichoke March, 21, have had OQe and two meetings every day. Two families have lately commenced keeping the Sabbath, and one came out from the Baptists. This stirred them up and their minister preached a few times on Adventismt setting us forth in a very unchristian way. Many of his own members were disgusted with the whole affair. The effect was that many have attended our meetings, and as the duties and privileges of the Christian have been set forth, the Spirit of God has put the woids home to many hearts. We hope to see some of them take their stand on the truth The brethren have been encouraged and have said that they never knew such glorious things were in the word of God,
I expect to leave here tomorrow for Litchfield.

It is some time since I reported to the Worker
PRINCETON, MINN.
I have been here a little over two months. The Lord has blessed the feeble effort put forth in showing the loving kindness of our Heavenly Father. Have held meetings in a school house and have held Bible-readings in families. At first I had a very hard position considering my inexperience.
Three revival ministers had the use of the school house when I came. A brother asked for me the privilege of speaking one night, but was refused. The congregation suggested that we hold the meetings together. For fear of losing

the use of the house they at last consented.
We labored on a week holding meetings every night. The Lord indeed helped me. But as I proclaimed the glorious coming of our Lord, and the preparation required for the same, in ceasing to transgress the Law of Jehovah, they did not receive it kindly, and backed out, saying we had not the same spirit, and could not labor together. Some one suggested the thought that if we could not labor together here, how could we expect to be together in Heaven? I was willing to give up the house, but the school board said I had the right to the use of it as. well as others.
Two have obeyed the call “come out of her my people.” Many others are convinced of the Truth. May the Lord’s Spirit move upon their hearts to* surrender, to its tender calling. ;

: MINNESOTA BLUE LAWS.
The Pioneer'Press asks the question:	“Is
Minnesota''to diave a set of blue laws?” The occasion of this question was the introduction on the 26th of March, of a bill to turn Memorial day into a day for religious exercises. It declares what acts and observances are suitable for that day; and adds a list of things prohibited. Under it all games, and races, even to ball playing are prohibited, under a penalty of a fine of $10. to $100., or imprisonment ten to thirty days, or both fine and imprisonment. The first seventeen hours of the day are set apart for sacred, solemn and patriotic exercises, and those who engage in sports or pastimes during these hours, will be guilty of a misdemeanor.
This is another outburst of the spirit of pater-
nalism, another attempted invasion of the unalienable rights of the people. It is another of the theocratical spirit that would prescribe religious exercise under pain and penalties of civil law. Of course, Minnesota has a code of blue laws in the statue Sunday laws, and this measure is in perfect keeping with the Sunday bills now pending in the legislature, and omens of no good for the future. OBITUARY NOTICE.
Hickok—Died of heart disease, at Lake Crystal, Minn., Mar. 6th, Sister Lucy Emmagene Hickok, aged fifty years and seventeen days. She accepted present truth under the labors of Eld. Ingreham, at Harrison, 111. in 1861. She leaves a husband and seven children. While Bro. Hickok deeply mourns the loss of his dear companion he has been drawn nearer to Jesus through the separation. Remarks by the writer from Rom. 1:16.
