Photograph of Peter Chamberlen's tomb, likely taken in the 1940s. Chamberlen was a physician in the 17th century who joined the Baptist movement, being baptised as an adult in 1648, and kept Saturday as the Sabbath. In his retirement he wrote many letters and essays on religious and political subjects.
