  • This photograph was taken at the Biennial Council of the Malaysian Mission Field, which was held February 21-26, 1915, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church Mission building, 400 Serangoon Road, Singapore. The photograph was likely taken on February 21, 1915, since the Asia Division president left the meetings the next day according to a report by Pastor F. A. Detamore in the Asiatic Division News, vol. 4, no. 5, pages 3-4. The meetings were held in a very tense situation in Singapore. The Singapore Mutiny had begun just a few days earlier.

Daniells (see Review & Herald vol. 92, June 3, 1915 or the 1915 Seventh-day Adventist Yearbook): Brother A. R. Duckworth, Missionary Licentiate, Federated Malay States Mission; Mrs Duckworth; Sister Chan Teck Sung, Bible Worker, Missionary Licentiate, Straits Settlements Mission; and Sister Mary (Mamie) A. Yarnell, Missionary Licentiate, Straits Settlements Mission (teacher at the school in the Mission Building in Singapore).
